Peanut Butter Granola Apple Slices

Peanut Butter Granola Apple Slices

Is this a recipe? Not really. I mean, kind of. But it’s the sort of thing that’s so absurdly simple you wouldn’t ever need a recipe for it. Times are strange, though. We’re in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. Many people are either under forced or voluntary quarantine (myself included), and grocery runs are much easier said than done. Because of all this. I thought it best to keep things suuuuper simple. And so I give you peanut butter granola apple slices. The idea behind this recipe is to provide you with a tasty treat that you very likely already have the ingredients for. Because again, nobody’s trying to do a grocery run right now. Nobody.

What’s great about this is that it’s ridiculously easy to throw together, healthy, and tastes great! Apples and peanut butter are already a staple for lots of people. But have you ever tried dunking those peanut buttery apples in granola? Well, the time has come.

If you happened to make my grain-free brown butter cinnamon granola, you should probably use it here. But honestly, whatever you have on hand is perfect for this!

Peanut Butter Granola Apple Slices

Ingredients

  • Apple slices
  • Peanut butter
  • Granola

Instructions

  • Honestly, there's no point of trying to get fancy here. Quantities don't matter. Simply spread some peanut butter on as many apple slices as you'd like to eat and then dunk the peanut buttery parts in granola. You may want to crush the granola up a bit (or just use the stuff at the bottom of the bag), but it's totally a preference thing. That's it. That's the recipe. Enjoy your snack!

Chances are, I’ll be keeping things low key until this virus frenzy calms down. I’m not trying to put myself at risk by going to the grocery store, and neither should you. So expect more simple recipes that can be thrown together with pantry staples. I may also do some non-food things. Not travel, obviously, but I intend to get creative. Hopefully this plague lifts soon, but in the meantime, I’m glad you’re along for the ride. And if you haven’t already, I’d love if it you’d join me on Instagram! I post on there a little more often, and it’s a good time all around.
