You ever seen those little triangular cookies with jammy centers? Those are hamantaschen! They're served for the Jewish holiday Purim, and are a real delight.
- It's easier than you'd think to make!- It uses store bought jam to make your life easier.- The dough is rolled thin for a nice cookie to jam ratio.- It's easily customizable.- It's delicious!
– 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
– 1 tbsp Lemon zest
– 1 tsp Dried lavender
– 4 oz Butter (8 tbsp)
– 2 Large eggs
– 1 tsp Vanilla extract
– 2 1/4 cups All purpose flour (Plus extra for rolling)
– 1/2 tsp Salt
– 1 jar Raspberry jam (I used Bonne Mamman)
– 1 jar Apricot jam (I used Bonne Mamman)
