  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Blueberry cinnamon simple syrup
  • 1 oz Lemon juice
  • Ice

  • Lemon twist
  • Blueberries

Instructions

Blueberry cinnamon simple syrup

  • To make your blueberry cinnamon simple syrup, add the blueberries, cinnamon stick, granulated sugar and water to a small saucepan and cook on medium heat until it reaches a simmer. Then lower the heat to keep it at a simmer rather than letting it get to a boil.
  • Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the berries have burst and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow syrup to cool for a few more minutes before straining through a fine mesh sieve into a glass jar. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Blueberry Pie Gin Sour

  • Add ice, egg white or aqua faba, gin, blueberry cinnamon simple syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. If you're using a metal shaker, you'll want to shake until the shaker looks frosty. Then pour into a coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist or a cocktail pick with blueberries and enjoy!
